- *** We can pretty much guarantee 100% our CT manufactured parts and Seiko OEM SKX007 parts will fit. Most reputable aftermarket manufacturers parts will also be ok, but we cannot 100% guarantee this as in some instance’s tolerance build up/variation exists that can be problematic – bezels being a particular area that can be tricky. We now have many different SKX007 bezels in the hope that you may consider purchasing your bezel from us.
- Additional info – Ideal for building a complete custom 1 off mod
Finish
- Hi Polish/Brushed as oem 0020 case

Finished with lightly patinated Snowflake hands (as close to the face as I could find.)
Now it will get a good cleaning- especially around the bezel and crystal edge as there’s a bit of grease from the bezel spring still migrating. Then a proper leather Tudor watchband- one of the new ones whose ends wrap around the round case ends with no gap.

I used a CT713 case to make my own ‘Left-handed’ ‘Vintage’ Tudor Submariner driven by a Seiko NH36 movement. The Tudor dial has no window, so I removed the day & date wheels to cut down on moving parts for the mechanism. The Tudor dial has the studs in the wrong locations for Seiko so I cut & ground them off and used 3M black double stick squares after watch cement failed to hold the face securely. The Tudor face is 29mm so I had to remove .5mm from the diameter so it would pass over the 713’s little internal lip and sit firmly on the CT brushed aluminum chapter ring. I added a CrystalTimes Stainless sterile crown and fitted an NH35 stem. The Bezel is a CT270 Brushed with a curved ceramic bezel I pulled from the parts drawer- missing the pip-not a CT part but used to add to the vintage effect. The Crystal is a CT037 Hi-Hat- Clear/no AR and finished with lightly patinated Snowflake hands (as close to the face as I could find.)
Now it will get a good cleaning- especially around the bezel and crystal edge as there’s a bit of grease from the bezel spring still migrating. Then a proper leather Tudor watchband- one of the new ones whose ends wrap around the round case ends with no gap.

The case worked well with all the part from the skx007, except the case back when screwed in tightly. It stops the movement. It could be the 2 side tape used mounting the dial. I might need to get the display caseback from CT as well as a bezel and insert so that everything fits precisely. I will remove and replace the 2 sided tape and try again before doing all the first just to be sure.
