The 7S26 is a legend, but every modder hits the same wall: no hand-winding, no hacking seconds. The Seiko Instruments NH36A is the movement that removes it — a genuine, brand-new SII/TMI 24-jewel automatic with both hacking and hand-wind, making it the single most popular upgrade movement in Seiko modding.

The specs read like a wish list: 21,600 BPH, 41-hour power reserve, 12 ligne (26.00mm) with a 5.32mm height (7.55mm with cannon pinion), hand sizes H/M/S 150/89/21, white/black day-date wheels at 3 o’clock, and a full-length stem complete with a fitted temporary setting crown. Every movement is factory regulated and fully function-checked before it ships to you. Note that movement processing takes 3–5 business days, and as with all movements in the trade, returns aren’t accepted — so plan your build before ordering.

Fitment: designed as the watch-modding upgrade for 7S26-based builds, with the crown at 3. Please be sure you understand the work involved before you buy: fitting the dial, hands, and regulation is careful work, and rushed DIY fitting has scrapped more than one movement.
